The Life Education Center's Carpet Kid activity is a favorite among students and is a great way to learn about important organs in your own body!

 I'm the BRAIN! I think, feel emotions and control the rest of your body.

 We are the LUNGS! We help you breathe and send oxygen through your body.

I am the HEART! I pump blood, nutrients and oxygen through your body.

 I am the STOMACH! I'm the first stop your food makes after you swallow it. I break it down before sending it to the small intestine.

I am the LIVER - I help your body digest food and clean out toxins.

 I am the SMALL INTESTINE! I finish digesting your food and send nutrients into your blood stream. I'm actually longer than the large intestine!

I am the LARGE INTESTINE! I absorb water and more nutrients from food I get from the small intestine. I also hold waste until you use the restroom.
