A Prevention of Substance Use Community Event. Join us at the Wellness Fest 2026 at the Kankakee Farmers' Market for a day centered around mental wellness, healthy living, and community connection. Local organizations, vendors, presenters, and wellness specialists will host family friendly, interactive tables and activities designed to encourage positive mental health and introduce healthy ways to care for your mind and body. The I-KAN Regional Office of Education's Life Education Center's Youth Advisory Council will be hosting family-friendly activities as well, including rock painting, face painting, and a fun photo booth featuring Harold the Giraffe. Guests can also enjoy music, spoken word, and hobby demonstrations from local artists, musicians, and community members sharing creative and healthy alternatives for self-expression, stress relief, and connection.
